Facilities

Sr Eveleen Retreat House includes a main house which consists of 3 twin bedrooms and a single room – a total of seven beds, shared toilets and shower. Full cooking facilities are available in a spacious kitchen, and a separate dining room has stunning views over Pegasus Bay. Sr Eveleen Chapel, also in the main house has been a place of prayer for nearly 100 years and has been described as a ‘deep well’. Morning and evening contemplative prayer is practiced here daily, all who stay in the house are welcome to attend..

The Annex is a separate building adjourning the main house with 5 small bedrooms and one larger utility room/office, which can be used as an extra double bedroom, with shared toilet and shower.
The house can accommodate 13 people in total or a maximum of 10 people if individual rooms are required. All bed linen is provided, with
beds made up on arrival, visitors are asked to remake their beds before leaving. Towels are also provided.

Rates

The standard room rate for 2009 is $40 per night. With directors using discretion regards variation from this rate as the need arises.

Should you wish to come for a day and not stay overnight the recommended rate is $15per person.

Catering

The advertised retreats are fully catered unless otherwise stated. Sometimes at other times catering or part/catering is available upon arrangement with the retreat house directors.
Self catering is encouraged for those who wish to come for their own personal retreat time. Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
